WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

High Wycombe

WHERE DO YOU/HAVE YOU WORKED?

I tried working in an office and hated it so ran away to work on cruise ship for a year. Since then I have worked at the Treehouse in Beaconsfield before moving to London to work at Dabbous. I am currently at Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings the newest site from B&H Group having previously worked at the Reverend JW Simpson.

FAVORITE BARS?

Jacks Shack in Grand Turk is my favourite bar in the world, ice cold beer, tasty BBQ and everyone's in a swimsuit. In the UK it's probably the Treehouse in Beaconsfield, It's really hard to find a nice drink in that area and those guys do it really well.

FAVOURITE DRINK?

Depends on the moment but nothing beats a well made Manhattan.

Bad ass barman/rock n roll moment?

Probably working the bar for my friends wedding in Bordeaux. It was in a fancy Chateaux so we introduced all his guests/France to Gin-face via lots of demonstration. At one point I was stood on a balcony pouring gin into mouths 20ft below with a tie around my head (naturally).

Ever done it on a bar?

Nope too many cameras these days, you have to find a CCTV blind spot.

What's next for you?

I don't like to plan too far ahead, at the moment I'm focusing on getting through a busy busy Christmas at B&H Buildings.

Best/worst chat up lines you've heard at a bar?

"Hi do you have ebola because you have me melting on the inside"

Tell us a secret or something we don't know?

I invented the "Burrizza" (a burrito wrapped in a pizza).

If you were to make a barchick cocktail, what would you put in it?

We have a pretty tasty gimlet on our menu at B&H Buildings West Indies Gimlet 50ml Plymouth Navy 20ml House Falernum 10ml lime juice a drop of house bitters

What did you want to be as a kid?

I wanted to be an archaeologist until I realised they don't all have whips and fight Nazis.
