Currently homeless, currently looking for a House in Harlesden.
I adore the American Bar in the Savoy, when I am putting on the Ritz... otherwise it's Trader Vic's beneath the The Hilton Park Lane, for the Huge rum Cocktails, I am partial to The Zombie & The Suffering Bastard, and on a cold Winter's eve a Hot Buttered Punch can't be beat , served in a skull shaped mug, it Slips down a treat... For the more informal occasion, it has to be the French House, for the Soho boho bonhomie, The Nag's Head, Kinnerton Street, Mayfair, tiny but amazing unspoiled atmospheric pub interior, replete with celebrity drinkers like Richard Harris & Oliver Reed (when they were alive) The Cow, Westbourne Park Road, for the Guinness & oysters & of course and Crazy Homies for the Amazing range of tequilas and the Chamucos cocktails.
Smokey & Bunty, St.James, Port of Spain Trinidad.... if I said this bar was unpretentious it would be an understatement! / La Capilla in Tequila Town, Jalisco, Mexico another real old school bar, loved by workers and tequila royalty alike, they make the best Batangas in the world and that's no lie!/ & finally McSorley's in NYC, an old Irish Tavern from Bygone Times, the ale is superb, when you ask for a beer they give you 2!
'The Legend' called Daut (aka Luti or Lucca) Skerja, the fastest pour in London & extremely handsome to boot, works in The Cow funnily enough!
letting my hair down professionally.
More tequila & more mezcal! Importing & drinking!
