OK so you might be a cocktail connoisseur, a bit of a bar snob, a five-star hotel drinker… but we challenge you not to f*cking love an ice bar.  They’re classic. Copenhagen’s shaken off it’s serious, frosty bar image and opened a year-round ice bar at Generator Copenhagen - nICE.   
It's 20 euros to get in but you'll get wrapped up warm and will soon be getting your booze jacket on too - knocking back shots from ice glasses and filling up your traditional kåsa mug with one of four cocktails on tap. You’ll even get to take this baby home as a keepsake so that’s next Christmas’ mulled wine cup sorted.  In case you hadn’t guessed, the bar itself is made out of ice. But this is no ordinary ice, it’s cultivated from the Torne River Jukkasjärvi in Sweden and the huge slabs are awesome.  Decor wise the whole place is inspired by the Northern Lights with a wood cabin vibe and epic colour changing lights too . (Who needs to book that overpriced igloo?) Go play.
