The Caravan crew have set up their all day-er dining place right by the South Bank. The name’s slightly misleading ‘cause it’s not exactly bang-on the river, (so don’t expect any killer views). But we’re here for the awesome chilled dining and drinking option round these parts that isn’t Giraffe or Café Nero.

Located on the ground floor of the old Metal Box Factory, there's space for 140-covers and a standalone bar. Order the Caravan classics and awesome fusion dishes such as the fried jalapeño cornbread with fried egg, avocado, and chipotle mayonnaise. Yum. Oh and definitely don’t forget to order some legendary specialty coffee from Caravan Coffee Roasters.

The cocktails will have herbs and flavours hand-picked from the Caravan King’s Cross herb garden. We’re excited to try the Chef’s Margarita, with preserved lemon, lime and cumin salt. It’s just ‘round the corner from the Tate Modern extension too – so that’s your day out with mum sorted.
