Former head chef of the awesome Pitt Cue has brought some serious dude food/killer grub to N1. If you're hungry and into this then you'll want the mezzanine bit upstairs, but if you're here for just drinks then the downstairs bar will have you more than covered. There's enough space in here to fit a big crowd, so just roll in off Upper Street. Do note the smoking area out back; a handy addition if you're sick of your e-cig. Take a seat at the long bar and soak up the loud music, business meeting joint this place ain't.

Their cocktail menu is light, easy drinking and we spotted a lot of lemon… perfect wingman material if you ask us. We went for the John Salt with Beefeater Gin, Lillet Blanc, a lemon twist, stuffed olives and moved on to the Espresso Martinis which sped everything up a bit. If this is not your thing then their wine list is short and well-priced, while the beer menu keeps it locally sourced. That hot dog stand in the corner? That's the DJ booth right there so hit it at the weekends to flex your newest moves....
