Forest Hill has taken its whole village vibe to a new level by turning the local Post Office into a 1960’s vintage pub, psychedelic wallpaper included. Now that’s BarChick’s kinda Post Office.

Sylvan Post has become THE place to hang in the South East. There’s a huge outside area (God bless the epic space down south), beaten up sofas out back, converted safes that are now naughty booths to hide away in and wooden school desks in the bar area. Something for everyone. There’s even a basket for your dog to doze in.

As a dedicated member of ‘Team South’, Sylvan Post have got the guys at Meantime involved and have knocked together an enviable beer and ale selection. If you’re into it, then head there to 'Meet The Brewer’ where you can get educated on the stuff too. The whisky shelf ain’t half bad either with limited edition Ardbeg and other hard-to-find liquors lining the drinks cabinet.

If it’s food you’re after then you’re in the right place as there are awesome bar snacks, bangin’ burgers and a Sunday Roast to rival your mums. Sunday Funday and all but Tuesday is the night you’ll find BarChick in here and she means business as it’s QUIZ night baby, topped off by a round of Play Your Cards Right. The only thing missing is Brucey himself.

Oh and if you actually want to post that letter, they’ve still got the original mailboxes out front. A trip to the Post Office just got sexy.
