Another bar by the masterminds behind Experimental Cocktail Club so it’s fair to say this place was never going to be bad. The trick is finding it; in true ECC style you’ll need some epic directional skills, or a hot Parisian by your side to guide you... otherwise, you will walk straight past it. The bar downstairs has all the classic cocktail bar attire; think velvet stools, an ornate ceiling and damn fine bartenders. Upstairs is all comfy sofas and fake bookcases, but who wants to read books when you got drinks to drink anyway? The classics are all there but it’s the house drinks that steal the show, each one is seriously inventive and aptly experimental. Head down there before 11 to get a seat, it’s rammed, even in the week. Beautiful people meet after work/before play to sip on PCC’s various creations and relax in this quirky and stylish speakeasy den. The whole place is decked out with old school charm, with the centrepiece being the bowler hat chandelier. See ya there.
