10 Date Night Cocktails To Make At Home

Cos what's more romantic than a pink drink?

Date night at home? Better not forget the cocktails.

Rose Fizz

When it comes to date nights, we say ditch the bouquet and put the roses in your cocktails instead. This flushed spirit is made with thousands of hand-picked, steam-distilled rose petals. This is how to bring roses to the full potential, baby. 

You will need:

25ml Lanique
Prosecco, Cava or Champagne 

Method: Pour your choice of fizz into a Champagne flute and top with Lanique.


Ain't no mountain high enough to keep us from this cocktail. When you wanna stick to the softer side of the drink scale, Everleaf is the bottle to reach for. Not everything has to be hard for a successful date night, ya know.

You will need:

50ml chilled Everleaf MOUNTAIN
Non-alcoholic sparkling wine or kombucha to top

Method: Pour the chilled MOUNTAIN into your most elegant coupe, and top with your bubbles of choice. Garnish with dehydrated strawberry dust (or stick a fresh strawb on the side).

By Any Other Name

Romeo, Romeo... where for art thou with my drink, Romeo? Elegant and light, this is the perfect luxury drink to round off an evening with bae.

You will need: 

50ml GREY GOOSE Vodka
20ml rosewater simple syrup (2 parts sugar, 1 part water, 6 dashes of rose water) 
15ml fresh lemon juice 
50ml rosé champagne

Method: Shake and strain over the centre of the sorbet in a straight-sided coupe glass. Top with champagne. Garnish with a basil leaf and serve immediately. 

The English 75

It's probably one of the most Instagrammed dining rooms in London, but until we can be reunited with the bubblegum hues of sketch in Mayfair (it doesn't get more romantic than wall to wall pink, right?), we'll channel it at home with this English 75, created by their bars director Pepijn Vanden Abeele, who's given a sexy Brit twist to this classic.

You will need:

25ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin 
10ml lemon juice
15ml St Germain elderflower liqueur
10ml pink grapefruit
Rosé English sparkling wine 

Method: Combine gin, lemon juice and pink grapefruit in a champagne flute. Top with English sparkling rosé wine.

Pomegranate Martini

Sometimes you need to need to give your relationship a bit of a twist, and we always prefer our twists with a Martini.

You will need:

70ml The Botanist Gin
1 heaped tablespoon fresh pomegranate arils
15ml dry vermouth

Method: Muddle pomegranate arils with gin and allow it to steep (1-2 hours). Add the infused gin and vermouth to a mixing glass with ice and stir to chill. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme.

Rose Margarita

The way to BarChick's heart? A limited-edition bottle of tequila. Wanna seal the deal? Turn it into a killer Margarita. BOOM.

You will need:

50ml Ocho blanco
25ml Rose and Wild Hedgerow Shrub
10ml lime juice

Method: Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a glass with cubed ice, garnish with salt and baby, we're yours.

The Night Before

We all know it's the night before the morning after where the fun takes places. If you wanna crank up the heat for your date night, you know your gotta dig out the aphrodisiacs, honey.

You will need:

Chopped Kiwi
Splash of Black Cow vodka 
One fresh oyster (literally the freshest you can get)
Edible glitter to garnish

Method: Chop your kiwi into small cubes and place on top of your oyster. Now add a splash of vodka and sprinkle some edible glitter (optional but totally worth it for the bouji effect) and shucks away, baby!

Wild Life Purple Queen

Take your date for a walk on the wild side with this low-alc twist on the Kir Royale by our girl Cami from La Maison Wellness using Wild Life AKA the sophisticated and ultra-low alcohol sparkling wine infused with an uplifting elixir of vitamins, minerals, and active botanicals. Ooh la la. 

You will need:

1 teaspoon Belvoir Blueberry + Blackcurrant Cordial
Tame & Wild Blueberry + Dandelion soda
Wild Life Botanical Blush

Method: Build in your fave flute and serve. Simple but effective. Rawwr.


Don't play with your food. Unless you're into that kinda thing. 

You will need:

60ml Didsbury Raspberry and Elderflower gin
2.5ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 teaspoons raspberry jam

Method: Stir all ingredients in the base of ya shaker to dissolve jam, then shake with ice and strain into chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a fresh raspberry. You could use your hands, but just make sure you've washed them first, yeh?

Marmalade Gin Lychee Martini

Wanna bring some magic to date night? This gin literally changes colour as you mix it with tonic... that's right! Although tbh it's the epic flavour that eally blows our mind, and it bangs in a cocktail like this. 


You will need:

50ml Pink Marmalade Gin
20ml Lychee Puree
50ml Lychee Juice
20ml Lemon Juice
1 x Egg white / a few drops of Ms. Betters Miracle Foamer if you'd rather avoid egg. This stuff is the bomb.

Method: Pour all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake hard for at least 12 seconds for the egg white to infuse and give the drink a foamy top. Pour it all into into a martini glass and garnish with 3 raspberries on a cocktail stick, balanced on the rim of the glass.
