Found in Hedgefunder's heaven, the sexy dark styling of the second Hakkasan joint in London is the same as its West End counterpart, only this time it's set over two floors, the bar on the ground floor and the restaurant below. That said you can eat in the bar, so it doesn't really matter as long as you can get past the door.
The cocktail list is interesting; long and with plenty of Asian influences, such as Lychee Martinis and Saki-tinis, but stick to the classics and you will be just as satisfied. Food cannot be neglected when it's this good; delicious dim sum and beautifully delicate squid, the vegetarian chicken is the wild card, and boy does it work. Yeah this place ain't cheap, buts it's so good it's worth it, especially if you make good use of the expensive Japanese moisturisers in the loo's. Oh and if this place doesn't seduce the date, buy a Ducati on the way out and they'll be begging you to take them home.
