As the name suggests, Abbey Road is a little bit of England in the heart of Beirut. The walls of this tiny bar are adorned with Beatles memorabilia, London street signs and black and white photos, while the paint scheme – lots of red, blue and white – pay homage to our flag. The service is up there with the best and the bartender is a legend, making this super cute little joint one of the nicest places to enjoy a beer. When the weather is good – which means almost always – the windows open out in to the street, doubling up as ingenious tables and there's a cosy mezzanine area above the bar, home to an old school set of decks.
What's more, with 70% off during happy hour in a bar which is already one of the cheapest in town, drinking at Abbey Road is more than affordable, reminding you that you're in Beirut and not St. John's Wood. Phewf.
