When BarChick’s in Berlin and wants a sundowner, she swings straight over to Monkey Bar. This chic spot has the kinda view to take your breath away. It’s ten floors up in the 25hours Hotel, which gives one killer panoramic perspective. 

The terrace is the place to be when the sun goes down, and when dusk falls it gets lit. They don't take reservations, so don't dawdle and get there with enough time to enjoy the sunset. There’s also DJs spinning tracks each evening for those party vibes. Oh yeah, and the balcony overlooks Berlin Zoo. How cool is that?

We took a walk on the wild side from ‘The Jungle Side’ menu. A Mad Monkey Mai Tai was a blend of three rums and sure had us feeling adventurous. Drinks are on the slightly more expensive side for Berlin - but you can’t put a price on that view, right? Sure, you won’t be shelling out peanuts, but it’s worth it.
