Deluxe by name - super deluxe by nature. Upper House exudes luxurious charm both chic and cool. Laidback yet cutting edge, you’ll be feeling totally amaze-balls… until the bill arrives. It’s eye-watering. Every time. But, heck, we’d live off wonton soup for the next month for a couple of rounds in here. It has hands down some of the best views of the harbour, making it the perfect vantage point for the CNY or Mid-Autumn festival fireworks display, that is if you’re lucky (aka rich) enough to bag a window seat. It is also one of the best restaurants in town, but that might actually bankrupt you.

If you can't handle a steak that comes in at around £60, then go for a cocktail instead. Their signature Hong Highball is nicely priced and is a mix of Belvedere Vodka, blackcurrant, ginger, lemon, pomegranate and fizz. Bubbles that won't break the bank? We're in. The bathrooms (renowned architect Andre Fu went to town on these puppies) are like hotel suites in themselves and well worth a visit, as is the outdoor lawn area a few floors down. This place, my friend, is a must, especially if you ain't paying.
