It does what it says on the tin: Ham & Sherry. You have the team behind outrageously successful 22 Ships (including Brit chef Jason Atherton) to thank for this, Hong Kong’s first and only sherry bar. Located just up the road from its sister restaurant, squint and you’ll think you’re in the heart of Spain’s Jerez. The whole of the outside façade is adorned with the authentic blue and white tiles of southern Spain, and once inside you’re faced with a great wall of jamon iberico and enough sherries to stock your nan’s bar for all the Christmases to come.
The menu boasts Asia’s largest sherry list with over 50 varieties and styles, so get involved. Go for a tasting flight so you can compare four different varieties - your sherry knowledge is about to skyrocket. Follow it up with the most expertly, thinly sliced Pata Negra served by the plate-full, as well as other small delicious dishes. While away an hour or so here while you wait for your spot at 22 Ships for dinner. There are still queues around the block though so get in there early.
