Salon No. 10

BARCHICK SAYS

Fancy joining a plethora of young, hip, HK cool kids in a space that's like an eccentric aunt's living room? Swing by the smashing bar that is Salon No. 10.

With more than just a hint of David Lynch about it, this place is one of our favourites. With its leather booths and walls studded with portholes then it’s kind of cruise ship cool, but then throw in trumpets for lampshades, jungle murals and a throne-like thunder box toilet and suddenly this ship’s gone super surreal. Don't forget to say hi to the peacock on your way in - he's acquired quite the rep.

The crowd here is undeniably fun and eclectic, so get chatting to your neighbour if you have the chance - who knows where the evening could take you. Head down mid-week for a gossip or a giggle in the old fashioned gentlemen’s parlour or hit up one of their live jazz nights on a Wednesday. The elaborate cocktail list can be viewed on an A3-sized sheet - get unfolding the menu and wait to see how the night unfolds in this bonkers spot.
