Located just off Queen’s Road East at the beginning of historic Stone Nullah Lane in Wanchai, this bar/restaurant does New-American cuisine, which is basically American food without the massive portions or e-numbers. Seasonal, locavore and stylish, the food is good. You can hit it up just for the bar if you’re not hungry, though you should be tempted by the Tater Tots with lardo aioli.
The large French windows open up onto the street so guests can drink outside adding to the relaxed, casual atmosphere. The vintage-feel, wooden-panelled cocktail bar is well equipped with plenty of boutique branded spirits and liquors ensuring classy drinks are served with aplomb. A good selection of American craft beers on tap are also on offer alongside all the whiskies, bourbons and rums. The wine list isn’t bad either.
