This open-air lounge bar on the 5th floor courtyard terrace of Design Hotels member The Mira Hong Kong is like a secret garden oasis, which tempts you with a fine shisha collection (served by an Egyptian master no less), good tunes and some seriously tasty cocktails. It's in the name: this place has super relaxed vibes. The open fires in lotus shaped steel flowers, the running waterways, and the lush frangipani trees make it feel like a hidden tropical escape from Tsim Sha Tsui’s relentless cityscape.
You can book a private cabana, an enormous horseshoe shaped sofa where a group of around twenty mates can sit, relax and drink away the night. Electro/nu-dsico music plays until 1am with dancing and debauchery fully encouraged. A good snack menu keeps the wolf from the door. This is the perfect place to head out after a boozy brunch at nearby Aqua or for a welcome break from Kowloon's hectic market scene.
