Padella Shoreditch

BARCHICK SAYS

Pasta la vista, baby!

Pasta lovers unite. And when we say unite we mean queue for hours outside the HOT new opening from pasta legends Padella that's smack bang in the middle of Shoreditch.

Brainchild of Tim Siadatan and Jordan Frieda of Trullo in Islington, Padella is all about fresh as hell pasta served up in its simple deliciousness. Pappardelle with 8 hour slow-cooked Dexter beef shin ragu, ricotta ravioli with butter and sage, tagliarini with Dorset crab - you get it, it’s f*cking good. Wash it all down with £5 Negronis, seasonal spritzes and Italian wines on tap and you’ll have forgotten all about that queue.

Luckily they got the hint and the Shoreditch space is much bigger than its little sis over in Borough; they’re even bringing their bakery in so you can go full Italian and fuel up on fresh pastries and espresso all day long.

The Shoreditch Padella has got on the tech wagon too with the walk-in app so you can jump in that virtual queue while settle into Queen of Hoxton or Bull In A China Shop round the corner for a pre-pasta cocktail. God bless technology.
