Sushisamba and Duck & Waffle have the views, but what if you’re afraid of heights or can't get a booking? Fear not my friend, at the bottom of The Heron Tower is The Drift. From the same group as The Anthologist, this kitsch restaurant and bar is HUGE and up for it. It’s in the city which means this place is usually rammed with suits. Or that could be because these bars tend to attract girls, with their pretty garden-like décor and skinny cocktails so the men know it’s the place to play… plus the staff tend to be hot, always a perk.

Either grab a drink at the long bar or sit down at one of the many tables and get involved with their great food menu (the portions are nice and big too!). With sharing boards, burgers, grills, salads and fresh fish there is bound to be something for everyone on this menu. The drink list is a long so bring your glasses. If you’re wanting a skinny cocktail then you’re in luck. We we’re loving the BBQ Whisky Sour with Nikka whisky from the barrel, fresh lemon, sugar, egg white and crispy bacon, coming in at only 85 calories, you'll have no excuse not to have a couple, right?
