The Shoreditch Butchery

BARCHICK SAYS

Just off Old Street roundabout, the Shoreditch Butchery has taken over what was once the XO Bar above the XOYO club. With corrugated iron walls lined with seriously cool work from the infamous street artist and Banksy-cohort Vhils, you know you're in East London.

They've sorted a good drinks list with some local beers, Bethnal Pale ale, Hoxton Stout and Shoreditch Blonde on tap. The cocktail list is short and sweet with some New World wines alongside it, and some spoiling Champagne if you want to show off. The food's sticking to the slider and hot dog trend, boasting some freshly baked bread, handmade sausages with free-range pork and prime cuts of beef, double-smoked over German beech wood... nice! The Classic Dog was a winner. Order your dog and you'll get given a buzzer that lets you know when it's ready to pick it up from the kitchen, eliminates the constant eyeing up of the waiter whenever they have food in their hands.

Keep check on their weeknight schedule and with its location just above the club it's the perfect place to go before throwing some shapes in till the early hours.
