This salsa joint used to have a bit of a bad rep but stay with us. El Cid has turned things around from a seedy salsa joint to an epic patio bar with black and white movie screens, live music, killer Margaritas and bar food to accompany (trust us, you’ll need it). I mean the dude in the kitchen went to cheese school in San Francisco, need we say more?

El Cid was lurking in Silverlake before the area even got cool and the historical building will make you feel like you’re walking in to an old Spanish taverna in the backstreets of Barcelona.
