Located in the Arts District, Little Bear is a go-to hangout for creative kids with a craving for Belgium beer and burgers. Inside the industrial building is a casual retreat: they’re going for a nautical twist on the warehouse vibe with hanging sea ropes on the high ceilings and its own nautical emblem above the bar.

They have a rotating top 20 best beers on draft with a fair choice from Europe, as well as a roll call of hot US craft brews you may not have seen elsewhere. They have a Belgium-inspired menu too - we’re not sure whether their team has ever actually eaten in Belgium, but who cares, their ribs are tasty. Depending when you come, you’ll either be walking into a beer-chugging sports-crazy bedlam, or into a laidback gastropub where people are drinking tea cocktails. We had ourselves a Monticello Tea (gin, fruit lab, jasmine liqueur, lemon juice and jasmine tea) for a far more civilized teatime tipple.
