Seeping with history, Le Florian is located in a pretty little square in Vieux Lyon. Think cobbled streets, shops selling everything from Venetian masks to marionette puppets and your fair share of sightseers… picturesque.

Check out the paintings on the ceiling, old mirrors and dark, cosy corners with plush velvet banquettes and Louis XVI style armchairs…this is the sort of place BarChick likes to find herself in when in need of a pit stop.

Le Florian opens at 3pm so head straight for the terrace and let the bartender mix you up a late afternoon aperitif, we drank the Pamelo (tequila, Aperol and grapefruit). If you’re more of a night owl then hit this place on Thursdays and weekends when they stay open until 3am, p.a.r.t.y.
