One of my favorite spots to visit after a hard but much deserved Sunday shopping session. Located in Chueca, at the top of San Anton market, you can peruse and make your way up through the three storeys filled with delicious tapas or just go straight through to the rooftop and get the party started.

This lovely outdoor terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink with your favorite allies while watching the sun set over Madrid's rooftops.
In the center stands the back-lit marble bar, surrounded by an array of eclectic furniture and over-sized flower pots that give you the impression of being in someone's garden, even though there is plenty of movement on the weekends, the vibe is cozy and intimate. The best part is that this open space can be visited all year round, yes, summer and winter alike - there are both heaters and misting fans.

If Gin is your poison, you'll be spoiled for choice with the more than 20 different kinds available. If Gin's not your thing, there is a good selection of Spanish wines, a few beers and a cocktail list full of crowd pleasers such as caipirinhas, mojitos and daiquiris all made fresh to order. There is also a snacks menu and some proper Iberico ham.
