Dog Bowl on Whitworth Street and has got five shiny lanes ready and waiting for you, but before you slip on those ever so sexy shoes (we’ve got personalised ones, yo), get yourself a drink.

The bar is fully stocked and so is the cocktail list. Choose from their twisted classics, or get tequila-laced on the lanes with their Viva La Mexico section. We tried the Popping Candy Paloma - tequila, passionfruit, lime, Ting grapefruit crush and popping candy. As off the wall and satisfying as it sounds. Then there's the Salted Caramel & Apple Old Fashioned - dreamy.  If you're in a group (and bowling is best with mates, right?), then it's all about the sharers. Who wouldn't wanna get stuck into a Rum Punch or Giant Pina Colada? 

All those strikes/gutter balls will make you hungry and Dog Bowl will sort you right out with their Americana menu, right through to the early hours. Cuban pulled pork loaded fries, Southern fried chicken burger... you get the idea. We dare you to order their Hound Dog hot dog - it'd topped with peanut butter and caramelised banana. It's not just the bowling lanes with the curve balls...
