There is way more than meets the eye at this converted auto repair spot. Sure, it looks like it’s just a cute little restaurant with brightly coloured tiles, murals and fairy lights, serving crazy cheap and delicious tacos out of a converted airstream trailer, but that's only the beginning. See that bouncer on the right, by the port-a-loo? He’s not just there to stop food fights, that's the secret entrance to the real show. Walk through the fake bathroom, and enter a two-floor industrial-looking lounge with a long wooden bar, chandeliers, and a neon sign that reads “Love me, EM KCUF,” where the cool kids in the know like to hang out. Snag one of their vintage sofas and hold court while downing anything from their agave heavy list. Margaritas are the way forward but don’t be shy about asking to try some of the Mezcals hanging out on the back bar. Catch this place on a quieter night - Monday-Wednesday -and you can hang out and catch a game on one of the screens, but weekends be sure to wear your dancing shoes.
