Cantine Isola is what every little local wine shop should be. You’ll find it in the middle of Chinatown, a little out of place, but who doesn’t love a bit of an oddball? Walls are covered in wine bottles for sale and there’s not a seat in sight… This place is for standing and acting like a local. It’s filled with chic Italians and most importantly, the owner who greets you like one of the fam when you walk in. Just go with it!

It’s strictly wine in here so don’t come expecting a cocktail or even shots. Pick and choose from the walls of wine or let the staff help you out, prices range from £6 to top dollar, so you can choose your quality. Enjoy the great aperitivo (free snacks) and if you hit it in summer make sure you take it outside to the street terrace for sunshine and maybe a seat.
