A regular hangout for anyone who lives on NY's Upper East Side (ProBarChick used to go at least once a week!). JG Melon is a local landmark that kinda looks like it's been there forever. With green and white check tablecloths and framed pictures of melons all over the walls, it's homey and quirky. Plus you'll love the basic but juicy burgers and Bloody Marys made good n proper. It's not for intimate dates: this place is small, jam-packed, loud and rammed with an after-work local crowd in suits. Oh, and they stay open until 4am, perfect for any after midnight munchies.
