Walk along the palm tree lined ‘Paseo’ and you’ll pass Pacha’s, Tito’s and various scary looking places with names like Mr. Mojito or Karaoke disco club.. Best you resist getting lured in by the scantily dressed chicks outside and make a beeline for casually cool Garito’s instead, as although born in the seventies (!) it's still hands down the most banging bar on the block and beyond! Respect.
You’ll find Garito's in a cute little harbour together with the chilled out crowd that rocked up, stopped at the outside bar (naturally) and hours later still haven’t made it inside.
Local and international DJ’s hit the turntables most nights bringing Garito’s insane sound system into play which makes you feel those juicy tunes while still being able to chat to hot Spanish date Diego. Thursday’s attracts a lot of locals and Fridays commence classy with their weekly ‘Nit du Vins’ when they serve up tasty snacks (Pintxos) and pair them with quality vino.
Whatever night you end up going and whether you shuffle in on summer sandals for a couple of laid-back beers or clickety-clack in on high heels pumped to party, this place’ll deliver, not just ‘cause of it’s vibe and versatility, simply because Garito’s got soul…
