Set in the local yacht club, just don't be expecting any posh dress codes or expensive membership fees, Podolka is all about good food, cosy vibes and those rocking riverside views.

In summer it's drinks and a BBQ on the outside deck, but we love this place in winter when the fire is burning and snow’s falling out on the boats. When BarChick visited there was a sailing comp bizarrely taking place in the dumping snow, these Czech sailors are diehards! They serve healthy, tasty comfort style food, made with very un-Prague ingredients like hemp seed flour, quinoa and tofu. The cocktails are surprisingly impressive, we loved the Old Fashioned, made with curry madras... seriously! They have a good list of wines and beers too and the staff are remarkably friendly.

Grab a communal table and spend a Saturday afternoon drinking mulled wine by the fire, perfect Prague day really.
