Situated on Rua Dias Ferreira among some of the best bars and restaurants in Leblon is Brigite’s. This place looks like it’s been shipped straight from Manhattan. It’s super chic with plenty of decent photography on the walls and candles at every table.

The food is predominantly French and the place has good heritage, it’s run by the same people who own Sushi Leblon and Zuka so they're unlikely to screw things up.

The barmen here are hot, with matching denim shirts and black bowties - we’re into it. They know their way around a shaker and strainer too, try the Sweet Passion (passion fruit, red pepper, honey, tequila and Cointreau) or Daniel’s B (banana, Jack Daniels, Absolut vanilla and cinnamon) where they flambé the banana for extra flavour, uh fire? Yes please. This place is cool and unpretentious despite the fact it won the Premio Rio Sho de Gastronomia in 2012. We love winners and we love this place too.
