We like our boozers with a decent backdrop, but this place is next level. Vine leaves climb over the entire outer wall of this little wine bar, all the way up the street lamp and along a telephone wire crossing the street. Basically, it’s damn pretty.

Affluent Boho types pack out the inside, sipping local wines and quality beers and sharing plates of delicious antipasti from ricotta cheese with truffle honey to porchetta. Outside Monti hipsters rule the pavements, drinking from plastic glasses and smoking between the parked cars and motorini. This is one of Monti’s favourite neighbourhood bars, and Monti is one of Rome’s loveliest districts, so you’re in for a treat.
