If the trek up or down the Gianicolo, Rome’s BEST hilltop view, gets the better of you then Il Baretto is the perfect pit stop en route to Panorama Bar (FYI the cocktails are better here). We say come at night and get loved up in the romantic garden and try their homemade Moscow Mule, those Romans love them things and always have their own way of doing them, here it’s with vodka, fresh ginger, cucumber, ginger ale, mint and a whole lot of love.

This bar is cool, modern and has awesome views from the first floor and a sweet garden so you’ll be happy here come rain or shine. The staff are friendly and the aperitivos edible. We say stick to the cocktails and save your appetite for killer views and sunset snogging when you eventually reach the top of the hill.
