As one of the pioneers of the contemporary French bar scene, these guys have been doing it right for seven years.

An intimate space consisting of brown leather banquettes, candlelight and a badass picture montage of everyone from Barbie and Ken to Al Capone. We particularly enjoyed the black and white films on loop by the bar, very hypnotizing.

When BarChick visited, head bartender Aymeric Tortereau, a previous national winner of the prestigious World Class competition was on hand to whip up the cocktails. We drank a Mexican Bee Gees; a super refreshing and moreish mix of tequila, mescal, orange liqueur, cucumber, lime and tonic. Free tapas in the form of olives, gazpacho and tapenade is offered between 6.30pm and 9:30pm, get at it.
