Sydney has a Momofuku! BarChick has been crushing on David Chang's Momofuku empire in NYC for years, so his new Sydney restaurant was high up on the box tick list. This one is much shinier than his originals, but thankfully those killer pork buns have been far from lost in translation.

Momofuku Seiobo is one of the newer venues in the Star Casino's expansion, and by far your best option. Skip the OTT Cherry Bar with its velvet rope upstairs and head here instead. Drink wine and sake at the small but stylish bar where you can watch the oddities of casino life pass through the floor to ceiling windows. If you've won big on the roulette ask for a seat at the chef counter and go wild with the fifteen course degustation menu. No cocktails here, but they do serve your basic mixed drinks. Not a problem Mr Chang.
