You see that? That's warmer days and lighter nights on the horizon, which means a new season is upon us. Rosé season, baby! And this May, our fave summer drink is getting an entire festival dedicated to it. Oh, and it's being hosted in an actual palace. Yes, seriously.
Food, live music, DJs, entertainment and more rosé than a Hamptons white party. That's the lineup of the UK's first-ever Rosé Festival taking over the Fulham Palace Gardens from Friday, 27th - Sunday 29th May.
Uncork and unwind amongst the botanical gardens with your partners in wine as rosé producers from around the world showcase their blushes. Yeah this might be a festival, but there will be no warm cider and scummy port-a-loos here, honey. Expect to see perfectly chilled bottles from over 30 pink-hued brands, including the likes of Maison Mirabeau's best selling rosés and the organic releases from Léoube, as well as the St Tropez based Château Minuty and the deliciously pale English rosé Pink & Co.
If you like your rosé in a cocktail, hit the Spritz Bar taking centre stage, where Bluebird Chelsea and Maison Mirabeau will be partnering up to offer an array of lush spritzes and cocktails using Maison Mirabeau’s Dry Rosé Gin.
Don't worry about lining your stomach before you get there. The festival will play host to a feasting series held in the Central Tudor Courtyard, where a coalition of leading restaurants and chefs will be partnering up with some of the festival's awesome rosé brands to create one helluva dining experience. Or if picnicking your way through the afternoon tickles your fancy, pre-order one of the limited-edition ‘Pink-nic Hamper’ created by artisan retailer, Daylesford Organic and sister brand, Château Léoube, AKA the perfect package for two to enjoy amongst the palace's leafy surrounds, including enough sweet and savoury treats from Daylesford for the both of ya.
Friday and Saturday evening (6pm-11pm) OR Saturday day (12pm - 5pm) £25pp
Sunday all-day tickets (12pm - 11pm) £25pp and evening (6pm-11pm) £15pp
The Rosé Festival will be donating £1 from each ticket sale to Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) for Ukraine.
