The approach is more outlandish than what's inside: the big, white cuboid of K Urban Beach stands alone on the river in the Santos district. Get delivered (by cab/mates) to the big car park before you walk the long, lantern-lit causeway to the door. Urban Beach cranks up the pop and R&B to become a club later on, but is very much a bar, and a big one, until eleven thirty ish (after that you might fall foul to a door policy/entrance fee, but if you’re young/hot you should be fine). It's a young crowd, university students or twenty-somethings and big groups, this place is made for a party.

Outside you’ll find a man-made beach, obviously, it juts out into the river and the chaise longues on the decking area make for a damn good snogging area.

The big main room has two square bars providing pretty simple drinks. It's London bar prices with beers for €4 and long cocktails for twice that. There are also two restaurants with options of sushi or grilled meat.
