Battersea/Clapham seems to be brimming with cool food hangout/date spots, and this kebab joint is no different. Forget the suspect van you wobble up to after a night on the shots though - these kebabs are classy, baby. BarChick loves the unusual Middle Eastern combos - chargrilled meats piled on top of freshly made flatbreads, or awesome veggie options like broad bean falafel and chargrilled cauliflower. Don't forget the sexy sidekicks (whipped feta fries? Woof). Plus all sauces, marinades and dips are made in-house. Boom indeed!

It’s a short but sweet cocktail list but (ex Hawksmoor’s) Ali Reynolds has developed the frozen margarita, so expect good stuff. There’s a decent craft beer selection if you’re not into all that though. Plus Sundays will never be the same once you've tried their Baba Brunch. Baba’s Sweet Tooth is cinnamon dipped eggy bread, Nutella & caramelised banana, clotted cream and honeycomb. Will it cause early onset of diabetes? Maybe, but man it's good. 

Speaking of Sundays, the 1st Sunday of EVERY month is KEBAB CHASE day… what does this mean?? It means if you run from one BabaBoom to another (Battersea/Islington) you can get a FREE KEBAB. Not many things would get us into our running shoes on a Sunday morning but damnit, kebabs just might.
