After their first blow-out success in Haggerston, Berber & Q set up in Exmouth Market. The hurrahs of Middle-Eastern-cuisine fans could be heard all over London.
Taking their influence and inspiration from the streets and cafe culture of Tel Aviv, you can expect chilled vibes with a focus on quality meats. The restaurant specialises in shawarma, slow-cooked on a rotating spit over hot coals – yes please.
There are some awesome highlights on the booze menu - when BarChick visited, we were all over the Dirty Sultan (mezcal, peach and rose - hello), and don't miss the 'Bermouth' (homemade vermouths infused with twenty botanicals). They've got their own collaboration beer, and there are Old Fashioneds on tap. Did we mention there come in flavours of Ras el Hanout, Smoked Tobacco and Date?! Raow! Come for the shawarma, stay for the sick drinks. In our world, it's also mezze o'clock.
