Everyone loves a diner, so the boys behind Notting Hill’s Electric Diner, were always on to a winner when they opened up in Soho. Welcome Soho Diner, home of good beats, great food and decent drinks on Soho’s flamboyant Old Compton Street.

Sit at the bar, take over a red leather banquette at the back, slide along the wooden benches or eat alfresco if you fancy people watching (why else are you in Soho?). The choice is yours. Sure they’ve got the usual diner classics, like hot dogs, cheese burgers and a Philly cheese steak sandwich (do have this), but you don’t have to roll out of here like ten tonne Tess, oh no. They’ve also got some healthy options, like quinoa, spinach and almond salad and grilled salmon with tomato vierge… tasty.

Aside from the food, the real deal clincher in here are the cocktails on tap… yeah boi. This means cocktails bought to you in half the time. We drank a Root to Mule which comes in a chilled copper tankard, a must for all root beer fans.

Open till 1am Mon-Wed and 3am Thurs-Sat... these guys have got your back.
