Descending into a shadowy meat cave might not seem like the most enticing recipe for a night out, but bear with us. There’s also mezcal (lots of mezcal) and some of the best BBQ you’re gonna find in London. Yes, celebrated restaurant Temper has struck its matches in Shoreditch and is lighting fires in the bellies of BBQ lovers everywhere. 

Upstairs is a sleek n’ sexy cocktail bar with booth seating for when you wanna get involved in one of their awesome cocktails (with a focus on agave and some mean Margarita twists, we highly recommend 'em) - and don’t forget to order a side of the crispy pork bites. But it’s in the basement where you’ll find us rocking out. With open flame cooking, a buzzing vibe and a soundtrack that includes 90s garage beats, this is a dining experience that’s gonna get you fuelled for a night out. Steaks are butchered in-house & come from rare-breed British cattle, so when they’re gone they’re gone, and the small plates will knock your socks off. Goat tacos are, well, the GOAT, especially when paired with the tongue-tingling Pepino Picante (a sexy mix of Verde mezcal, apple, agave, lime, cucumber, Tabasco and a smoke-dried chilli spirit - hot damn).

No tantrums, just pure Temper love from us after a night at this smoke show.
