We love us a good Parisian pavement café, but until now they’ve been seriously lacking on the cocktail front. Introducing: L’éclair! Somewhere between traditional French café and great little cocktail bar, we can get our people-watching, espresso-drinking fix AND order a Margarita.

Even on a Sunday l’Eclair barely has a spare seat in the house, with a seemingly constant buzz. The cocktail list is a mix of classics and L’Eclair creations focusing on tiki drinks and sharing drinks like the Green Beast in a Cage, sold. We liked the Tikinator, a refreshing mix of rum, Elemakule tiki bitters, absinthe and citrus. Snack on hotdogs, tartines and sharing plates, or skip straight to the eye-grabbing cakes perched on the bar top under bell jars. We hear they do a mean Sunday brunch too.
