Pergola on the Wharf

BARCHICK SAYS

Canary Wharf is coming into bloom

If Pergola Paddington is the leafy playground for West Londoners, then the new bricks & mortar site of Pergola on the Wharf is gonna be where City suits go to let their hair down. This grown-up waterside Eden rocks some sick panoramic views over the city from a cool wrap-around terrace (which is heated for those colder nights), along with three internal bars and a cornucopia of food pop-ups all flooded with natural light from floor to ceiling windows.

When it comes to the food, the menu has been developed by Nick Wyborn who used to work his gastro-magic as the Exec. Chef of Mac and Wild. His menus have taken cues from nature, so you'll find him serving wholesome fare from the ‘Earth, Land and Sea’, with a killer seasonal focus. The drinks at Pergola’s three bars have been created in partnership with some of the city's finest distilleries, breweries and wine merchants,

Things are kicking off over the Bank Holiday weekend, and then it's gonna be a season of DJs, live music sets, festival weekends and awesome themed brunch parties. Canary Wharf might not be BarChick's usual stomping ground, but we reckon that might be about to change.
