A Spanish tapas joint that's more Ibiza than Barcelona. Room is a shiny new Prague 1 venue that turns into a cocktail lounge, complete with DJs at night. It's massive, and all you tapas lovers can dine relatively smoke-free in the brightly lit area up front, or with the smokers in the huge, loungey area out the back… you choose. The food is decent: authentic Spanish dishes that won't disappoint and drinks that come in the form of cervesas, wine, Sangrias and cocktails. We loved the Pragatown, made with gin, St Germain elderflower liqueur, orgeat and pineapple.
Get couch comfy, enjoy the laid back beats and try some small plates from their menu of hot and cold tapas with a group of friends, like the calamari with homemade aioli or the Spanish omelette. A DJ takes over at night on weekends, turning the place into more of a club than a restaurant, not for you? Well we say go for boozy lunches, with a special lunchtime menu and the skylight lit back room: you won’t be leaving anytime soon.
