Located on the second floor of the Marina Hotel, this ain’t your usual hotel bar. Tirelessly popular with the hot young things of Brazil, if you’re looking to parade your feathers at the weekend you’d better book, this is the place to be seen.

Darkly lit with murals of naked mermaids and antique mirrors on the ceiling, this place is certainly a stirrer of the senses, saucy. Although only on the second floor, BarChick was convinced she was at roof level, we blame it on the impressive views of the ocean (or the free cocktail shots we downed on the way in).

We drank the Gisela, a mix of pepper vodka, watermelon, sour mix and watermelon syrup, refreshing and spicy all at once. Woof.
