I used to air guitar on the bar top religiously! My weapon of choice was of course the Galliano bottle. This went on for about 8 years until one day whilst banging my head to ACDC I put my foot on a dodgy speed rail which collapsed underneath me. I stuck my hand out for support and pulled down the entire back bar at Covent Garden Cocktail Club and landed on the floor with such a crash the whole bar went quiet. I managed to wipe the strawberry puree off my face and get back up to finish the song! Not that bad ass, but fairly rock and roll. The show must go on! ;-)
Not yet, I’ve been behind the bar, but not on it. Perhaps one for the future!
An ice cube gets put on the bar top and smashed with the underside of an ash tray. The guy says “now that we have broken the ice, how about I buy you a drink?!" lol!
My favourite drink is actually ice cold semi skimmed milk!!!!!!!! I just tell people about gin martinis to sound cool! ;-)
Something worldly.... something grown up, but playful..... Something classic with a contemporary twist... Southside Royal! 25ml Oxley gin 20ml fresh lemon juice 20ml sugar syrup 5 leaves of mint Shaken all together and strained in to a champagne saucer Top with Prosecco, or Ruinart Blanc de Blancs if you’re up to it! Garnish with a floating mint leaf Sex in a glass!

Bartender! No, I don’t think many have. I wanted to play upfront for Aston Villa! Either that or design furniture, odd mix really!
