WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

Lithuania

WHERE DO YOU/HAVE YOU WORKED?

I started bartending when I was 17 and worked in a few high end night clubs and restaurants in my home town Kaunas. At 21 I moved to the UK and started working for TGI Fridays and ended up in their flagship venue in Covent Garden. After TGI Fridays I went to the Living Room W1 and whilst working there I was given the chance to make the move over to Dubai to work with OKKU, where became Bar Manager. Now I work at Lucky Voice Dubai.

FAVORITE BARS?

OKKU of course! Also Bar 1001 on Brick Lane in London and locally 360 is a great place to hang out.

FAVOURITE DRINK?

Havana 7 Year on the rocks

Bad ass barman/rock n roll moment?

Winning the Middle East finals for the DIAGEO World Class in 2010 and then competing in the global finals in Athens!

Ever done it on a bar?

Is there anywhere else!?...Not in the Middle East of course…

What's next for you?

My dream is to buy a summer house in Croatia, plant cherry tomatoes and fresh mint in my garden and make best bloody Marys & Mojitos whilst smoking a fat Havana Cigars... the good life!

Best/worst chat up lines you've heard at a bar?

To be fair I hear quite a lot of bad ones, but the worst come from people who want to show off in front of the bartender to make him look cool. Don’t have time for people like that...

Tell us a secret or something we don't know?

The Easter Bunny is real.

If you were to make a barchick cocktail, what would you put in it?

I would probably call it a "Chick Magnet": 3pc Fresh Basil 50ml Camomile tea 50ml Don Julio Blanco 20ml Xante pear brandy 30ml fresh lime juice 15ml Gomme syrup 10ml Egg white Served in a chilled martini glass with a floating basil leaf. MMMmmmmm..

How do you like your Martini?

Extra dry.

What did you want to be as a kid?

I always wanted to be a tractor driver.
