Bartenders
Turin, Italy
Barts speakeasy in Chelsea, Kyashii cocktail bar in Leicester Square, Shore bar and Smile Tree in Turin and Espai Nuva in Barcelona
Old Fashioned and tequila old fashioned.
When Sting (the singer) asked me for a Dirty Martini when I was working in Kyasii.
What happened on the bar, stays at the bar…
I’m not sure yet, I don't like to limit myself by having a set plan, I just tend to go with the flow and catch the opportunities that come my way as and when exciting new projects come along. I love what I do though, and am very passionate about the industry so I'm considering a trip to NY at some stage in the future, as after already working in Italy, Spain and the UK I think this is the next bar scene I need to conquer. NY is always at the foreground of so many drinks trends so it would be great to work for an experimental place, like Barts, over there for a bit at some point.
The best thing I’ve seen at a bar was when a guy asked a girl to marry him, was amazing – he got down on one knee on the actual bar – she said yes! The worst was when a guy told to a lady "I’d rather jump you than chat to you.” - that was so rude!
Santa's favourite drink is a Cosmopolitan.
Well it is definitely not going to be easy to surprise you ladies so I would have to use some sort of special effect… I think a classic with a funky twist may work nicely, so, I would prepare a nice Chambord Caviar served floated in a glass of Vintage champagne. I would call it the “Chick Moment”.
I like it really dry with No.3 gin
You’ll think I'm lying but I actually always wanted to be a Bartender, ever since watching the film Cocktail!
