Triple distilled, and twice charred... this small-batch bottle comes from the King of Irish whiskeys. If you dig a bourbon, this is your dram. It’s spent time ageing in double charred first-fill bourbon casks (AKA black barrels), so it’s got a creaminess that melts away to a wash of sweetness before kicking up the spice levels with a hit of cinnamon. And it bangs in an Old Fashioned.
50ml Jameson Black Barrel
5ml sugar syrup
2 dashes of Angostura bitters
3 dashes of orange bitters.
Combine ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice, and stir until cold. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with an orange slice.
