No waste, no problem. Discarded is all about making delicious spirits from stuff that would otherwise be thrown away - now that’s an ethos we can get behind. Case in point: Discarded Banana Peel Rum, made from rum that’s first used to season casks for malt whisky ageing. This liquid gold is usually sold on or disposed of, but Discarded gives it new life by infusing it with - you guessed it - banana peels.
The result is a smooth, fruity spirit that brings flavours of freshly baked banana bread, warm spices, butterscotch, sticky toffee pudding and crystallised ginger. It’s basically banoffee pie in a glass, which means it totally sleighs the cocktail game.
